According to Moderation Center of National Electric System (A0), the situation of power supply will be very severe in April and next months in dry season of 2010, because the scorching sun prolongs and the drought occurs in a large extent, leading to water output flows into hydroelectric lakes at the record level from the past to now.

Faced with those situations, situation of electric lack becomes more and more severe. - According to the report of Binh Duong Electricity on 13/5: Only considering Binh Duong Province in 4/2010, Electricity Company 2 apportions to Binh Duong Electricity the rate of power output at the daily average within month as 14,382,000 kWh/day. From 01 to 08/04/2010, Binh Duong Electricity executes the project of power output moderation by cutting off the electricity in turns every week/time/region, but the results exceed apportioned output. From 09 to 29/04/2010, Binh Duong Electricity executes the project of cutting off the electricity 2 times/week/region. The result of it is that Binh Duong Electricity controls the average output of each day at the rate of 14,491,808 kWh/day, exceeding 0.76% in comparison with the apportioned electric output.

- According to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh, Director of Dong Nai Electricity: at present, Dong Nai Electricity is averagely apportioned about 18 million kWh/day, holding about 8% national electric output, while real demands of electric use over provincial areas is approximately more than 19 million kWh/day.
